SATURDAY April 12th AND SUNDAY April 13th, 2025
PURPOSE:
- To provide a venue where younger people in the community can become engaged to assist their older neighbors.
- Instill the principles of community engagement throughout Oneida County.
- Assist older people with general yard clean-up through a partnership with both younger and older members of our community.
DESCRIPTION:
- During the weekend of Saturday April 12th and Sunday April 13th, 2025, volunteers will be matched with older persons who are in need of a “Spring Clean – Up.”
- Youth/Adult volunteers will be from area colleges, school districts and youth organizations.
GENERAL YARD CLEAN-UP WILL INCLUDE:
- Raking
- Collecting
- Sweeping
- Bringing light refuse to the curb
