The Utica City School District maintains formal Affiliation Agreements with the following higher education institutions, enabling student placements across a variety of academic disciplines within our district.
These partnerships offer students practical, hands on experience while supporting the district's commitment to fostering professional and educational growth.

The MVCC office at Proctor is used by Admissions, Financial Aid, the Office of Accessibility Resources (OAR), the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP), Holistic Student Support (HSSS) and the Science Technology Entry Program (STEP). The office provides students direct access to MVCC personnel to learn about services provided at the College.
Upward Bound
Grant funded program for high school students.
MathCorps
Summer program for middle school students that are mentored by high school students and professional staff in the acquisition of math skills through a unique program whose emphasis is on the development of the student.
Dual Credit: MVCC courses taught at Proctor High School
Assist with any items related to administration of the Dual Credit Program
- Student record and registration assistance specific to Dual Credit courses
- Coordinating with Administration, Department Heads, Faculty and Guidance on new course offerings
- Coordinating with Administration, Department Heads, Faculty and Guidance on existing course offerings
- Includes periodic review of courses offered to determine need for updates/changes
- Organize Liaison partnerships:
- Each Dual Credit faculty member is assigned a Faculty Liaison from the College to act as the main contact for questions related to course content and delivery
- Facilitate new faculty approval and orientation
- General support to existing faculty
- General support to Guidance office for questions related to Dual Credit courses
Magnet Bridge: Competitive program through which selected seniors are enrolled full-time on the MVCC Utica Campus
Assist with any items related to administration of the Magnet Bridge Program
- Participate in selection process including establishing minimum program requirements
- Meet with students to determine area of interest
- Serve as academic advisors, assisting students with course selection
- Communicate with Guidance to determine HS graduation requirements for each student
- Coordinate student schedules (for courses at MVCC)
- Help students navigate the world of MVCC
- Act as point of contact for general student needs while on campus
