District News: Utica City School District System of Care ICAN Basketball Academy at Elevate on Spring Break

Our Utica City School District System of Care was at it again during Spring Break week creating an amazing opportunity for Utica students, in partnership with ICAN’s sports complex - Elevate CNY. Young players attended a Basketball Academy at Elevate instructed by Assistant Sports Manager Ryan Schmadel (and some of his college players!), learning skills and drills and meeting kids from other schools within the district. We had some real talent on the court! Each player went home with a backpack, a hat, a basketball AND a Dick's Sporting Goods gift card to keep their basketball careers on point and moving forward!
