Next up for the ORION STEM outreach program is a one-day STEM camp to be offered on Saturday, March 2nd, at Innovare Advancement Center. This STEM camp, titled “Pi Day” is for 9th – 12th grades.
The Air Force Research Laboratory /Information Directorate, also known as Rome Lab, is sponsoring this STEM program free of charge through the ORION project, which is a collaborative effort between Rome Lab, Quanterion Solutions Incorporated, Assured Information Security, the Griffiss Institute, and NYSTEC. This opportunity is provided by the Air Force to encourage students to pursue future careers in the STEM fields.
The camp will be held from 9:00 – 3:00 PM, and applications are being accepted through February 21st.
