REMINDER: Important Dates in November!

Dear UCSD Families,

I wanted to remind our UCSD community of several key dates throughout the month of November. Be sure to mark your calendars:

Friday, November 10: Veterans Day—No School

Veterans Day honors the dedication and sacrifice of those who have served in our armed forces, recognizing their contributions to safeguarding our nation's freedom and democracy.

Tuesday, November 21: 15-Minute Go Home Early Drill
On Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2023, UCSD will participate in an emergency “Go Home” drill. This drill will fulfill the requirements of the New York State Education Department, which requires each school district and BOCES in New York State to conduct an Emergency Management Plan drill.

Wednesday, November 22-Friday, November 24: Thanksgiving Recess
