District News: The Utica City School District is pleased to be the recipients of a generous donation of school supplies by Planet Fitness.

UTICA, New York – The Utica City School District is pleased to be the recipients of a generous donation of school supplies by Planet Fitness. Whether it’s a backpack or notebook, Planet Fitness, with locations in North Utica and New Hartford, understands the positive impact new school supplies can have on a student starting the school year off right. Their desire to support a local school district is both commendable and appreciated, and truly exemplifies the community spirit present in both the City of Utica and greater Oneida County.

These school supplies will be dropped off to Proctor High School on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at 10:00 AM in room M-358. Administration will be there to receive the donation and to personally thank Planet Fitness for this thoughtfulness.

The Utica City School District is comprised of 10 Elementary Schools, 2 Middle Schools and Proctor High School, providing a comprehensive education to nearly 10,000 students in grades K-12.

The school district would like to extend our sincere thanks to Planet Fitness for their commitment to the local community and the students of the Utica City School District.
