The Raider's Extended Day (RED) Program officially launched on Monday, January 27, 2025, providing students in grades K-6 with extra academic support and engaging activities to promote social-emotional well being!
On launch day, students enjoyed snacks, bagged dinners, creative crafts (like knitting), and quality time with their peers - all in a safe, fun, and supportive environment.
All 10 elementary schools host the program Monday-Thursday, 3:15-6:00 PM, on regular school days. Due to popularity of the program, each school has developed a waitlist for future enrollments.
The Utica City School District is thrilled to see the RED Program grow and continue to expand to make a positive impact on our students!
