Teacher Ambassador Program
The CTE Department presented to the New York State Department of Labor’s - Teacher Ambassador Program at Utica’s State Office Building to discuss what career and technical education will look like in the Utica City School District. The K-12 CTE initiative takes students through exposure and awareness of various career fields to project based learning modules and the completion of CTE pathways determined by industry needs of the Mohawk Valley. These opportunities can lead students to pre-apprenticeship programs, internships, and earned certifications and micro credentials upon graduation.
