Mr. Lanz’s marketing class had a special guest at the end of May! Proctor graduate, Diamonte “D” Giacovelli (2021-2022), spoke about what his experiences were at Proctor and the transition being a Syracuse University student.
Earlier in the year, we were able to view Diamonte’s Instagram post for SU that is, to date, the most viewed post ever at SU. Topics of conversation for the class included, a day in college life, timeliness of doing college work and assignments, networking, integrity, work ethic, social media (and personal management of), mistakes, and communication.
Many relevant topics were discussed and the students were fully engaged in his speaking. Diamonte, we appreciate you taking the time to speak with students, and look forward to you coming back to share your experiences and knowledge to influence future classes.
