Out of the 20 teams that participated at the NY Excelsior MVCC Utica FIRST Tech Challenge Tournament, team #16096 Raider Bots for Thomas R. Proctor High School ranked 9th place, making it within the top 10 teams that were able to score the most points throughout the qualification matches. Although the team ranked 4th place during the matches earlier in the competition, Raider Bots later moved down to 9th place after running into some robot issues during a match. Raider Bots did not advance to the championship as they were not selected for the alliance selection. Our judging feedback stated that Raider Bots were excellent at displaying gracious professionalism, accomplished in showing teamwork and rapport, and developing in all other areas of robot design and reaching out to their technical and scientific communities. Without the collaboration and hard work of the students, volunteers, and coaches, much of this would not be possible so we graciously thank all those who showed up and supported the Raider Bots!
