Industry Tour:
Rome, NY
As part of manufacturing month sponsored by MACNY, CTE students from Proctor High School visited Bartell Machinery in Rome, NY. Students took a tour of the facility which produces the most advanced and proven machinery systems and industrial equipment solutions for the production of a wide array of products like tire and rubber, gas and oil, and wire and cable. Students learned about the various job opportunities in the different departments at Bartell Machinery; assembly, machining, inspection, health and safety, engineering, and many more. The students would like to thank MACNY and all the local manufacturing companies for the swag bags and the various opportunities to learn more about the manufacturing field.
