Julie Murad-Caruso
Community Impact Officer, Julie Murad-Caruso, from Empower Federal Credit Union spoke to CTE students in Business Math and Marketing classes about budgeting and credit. Student groups were given different scenarios and expenditures to enhance their knowledge of family spending having to do with auto loans, mortgages, student loans, insurance, groceries, and much more. Following the activity, students were asked to discuss what they would do differently to save money in their futures.
