Girls Rule the Law Field Trip to Syracuse University!
Proctor alumnus, Gabriela Girona, invited Proctor students to the Girls Rule the Law: Youth 2024 Conference hosted by Syracuse University's College of Law.
The conference is dedicated to nurturing the aspirations of the next generation of female leaders. Students heard from Keynote Speaker - Honorable Jenny Rivera, Associate Judge of the Court of Appeals in New York State, engaged in a special session with Judge Edwina G. Richardson, Deputy Chief Administrative Judge, and participated in speed mentoring sessions to enhance networking and mentorship. In addition, students learned about the legal profession, voting rights, civics in action, and professionalism in the practice.
The event was empowering and inspiring while educating, engaging, and uplifting the next generation of leaders in the legal community.
