The Section III Scholar Athlete Program annually recognizes two high school seniors (one male and one female) from each member high school whose academic and athletic careers have been exemplary. Whose personal standards and achievements are a model to others, and who possess a high level of integrity, self-discipline and courage. Nominated students must have met the criteria of a 90 grade point average and have participated in at least two varsity sports during their junior and senior years. Since its inception, the annual Scholar Athlete Program has honored thousands of graduating seniors. This year, Section Ill is hosting the 35th annual Scholar Athlete awards dinner and recognition ceremony at the SRC Arena on Monday, June 10th beginning at 6:00 PM.
