Watson Williams 5th Grade Class Visits the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum

Take me out to the ballgame…

 

The National Baseball Hall of Fame has partnered with the Utica City School District to provide each of our 5th grade classrooms across the Utica City School district with an unforgettable experience learning about America’s favorite pastime at the Hall. 

 

Yesterday, Watson Williams attended their trip to the Hall and it was an educational day full of learning, fun, and teamwork! Students viewed the brand-new Souls of the Game: Voices of Black Baseball exhibit which opened in the Spring of 2024, explored the beautiful plaque gallery, traded baseball cards, and entered the Bullpen Theatre to recreate Hank Aaron’s legendary 715th homerun broadcast! 

 

The Utica City School District cannot thank the Hall enough for generously providing transportation by coach bus, entry to the hall, catered lunches, and a small gift bag for each student to take home.
