On May 10th, 2024, Proctor Senior’s Dianndra L. Frazier, Aryiana Swift, and Kimani Thomas graduated with their Associates Degrees in Liberal Arts from Mohawk Valley Community College. The graduates were all participants of Thomas R. Proctor’s Mohawk Valley Community College Magnet Bridge Program. The graduates walked the stage at MVCC’s commencement ceremony held at MVCC Utica campus. Proctor’s Magnet Bridge Program had 19 participants during the 2023/2024 school year.
Dianndra Frazier has committed to the United States Air Force and is leaving for deployment on June 25th, 2024. Dianndra plans to continue her education in the health studies field while in the United States Air Force. Aryiana Swift will continue her education at Sienna College in the fall of 2024. Kimani Thomas will continue her education in the field of political science with a focus in pre-law, and is in the process of making her final decision on where she will pursue her studies in the Fall. The Utica City School District is immensely proud of the dedication, determination, and commitment that these students put forth to earn their associate degrees while seniors.
