The photography class went on a field trip to visit the George Eastman Museum and Sonnenberg Gardens. In the morning students learned about the history of George Eastman and the company he created, Kodak. They had the opportunity to learn about and make cyanotypes and take a lot of amazing photos around his historic mansion and gardens. The afternoon was spent touring Sonnenberg Gardens & Mansion State Historic Park. Students were able to experience the many gardens on the expansive 50 acre estate as well as the greenhouses and the historic mansion. It was an exciting day of new experiences, photography, history, and making art!
