Cinello DeNigro rolled his first career 300 game during our match against Whitesboro on January 8. He finished the match with a 690 series and is averaging 218 for the season, which leads the TVL!

Marcella Seaton- Senior

Marcella Seaton has committed to play volleyball for the Herkimer College Generals next year. Marcella is a three-year starter for the Proctor Raiders Girls Volleyball Team. She plays right-side hitter, backup setter and back row. She has been voted Player of the Game by her teammates numerous times. She has 18 kills, 9 digs, 10 assists and 25 aces on the season. She plans to pursue a criminal justice degree while playing volleyball for the Generals. Congratulations Marcella!

Update

The Girls Varsity Volleyball Team had two big wins recently against a couple of tough Tri-Valley League (TVL) division volleyball opponents. On Jan. 14, after being two sets down to Whitesboro, the Raiders fought back to take three straight sets: 25-17, 25-22 and the deciding game, 25-18! This is the first time in a long time that Proctor has beaten Whitesboro in varsity volleyball. Maria Htoo lead the way with 7 kills and Arianna Williams had 5 kills along and 4 blocks. Alexia Vo had 16 assists.

The next big TVL division win happened on Jan. 23 during Senior Night in the main gym. The Raiders honored five seniors: captain outside hitter Maria Htoo (4 kills), captain setter Alexia Vo (16 assists), right-side hitter Marcella Seaton (1 kill, 2 assists and 1 dig), defensive specialist Dah Eh (2 aces) and libero Eh Ahah Kyi (3 digs). The Raiders won in straight sets 25-16, 25-14 and 25-16!

S-E Varsity Volleyball Tournament

The Girls Varsity Volleyball team is the Sherburne-Earlville (S-E) Tournament champion! Proctor came in first in pool play with victories over Cooperstown, Cincinnatus and Waterville, losing only to Sherburne. Proctor went on to win 25-21 in a one set semi-final and in the best two out of three final, Proctor beat Cooperstown in straight sets; 25-15 and 25-23. Alexia Vo was named to the S-E All-Tournament team and Ari Williams was named Tournament MVP.

Maria Htoo- Grade 12

Maria was a unanimous vote for captain this season. She leads by example on the court, in the classroom and in the community. Maria led the Raiders with 7 kills against New Hartford, which helped the team win its first set against them in a number of years. She also led the team with 6 kills against Oneida.

Kaitlynn Conte - Senior

Congratulations to Proctor senior Kaitlynn Conte who had the highest 6 game total at sectionals! She rolled a total of 1200 pins with a 200 average, qualifying her to go to states in March. Way to go Kaitlynn!
