MLK students held a pep rally on Friday afternoon to hype students in 3rd - 6th grade for the NY State Tests which begin on Monday. 2nd Grade teachers, Mrs. Kennedy, Mrs. Grimes, and Miss Hartman hosted and presented the pep rally which has a pirate theme! There was pirate themed trivia questions, an explanations of chances for students to win prizes, and a review of best tips for taking the test! Mrs. Kennedy's "Dramatic Dreamers" drama club also performed a short pirate-themed play on doing your best on state testing with a song that the 2nd graders also performed. Teachers wore their pirate themed t-shirts as well to cheer students on! MLK students are ready to do their Best!
