4th Grade students at MLK have been working on learning about electrical circuits in library. They read 2 nonfiction books and learned facts and information about electrical circuits as well as conduction and insulation. After learning about electrical circuits, students worked in groups where they were assigned different roles. Students build Makey Makey voting machines using aluminum foil and copper tape. Not only did students apply what they learned about electrical circuits, but also gained valuable experience working together in a team to bring their project to life.
