There's Snow Place Like MLK!
MLK hosted their yearly ELA family night with the wintery theme based on the book "Snowy Day" by Ezra Jack Keats.
Students played a snowball toss for a candy cane, made snowflakes, did some fun snow-themed writing, made doughnut snowmen, did several crafts, guessed number of marshmallows in a jar to win a prize, listened to a reading of "Snowy Day" and sang some winter jingles!
MLK families had SNOW much fun!
