A small group of students at MLK worked with staff members to learn about what it means to be unhoused. Students and staff collected nonperishable food items, warm clothing, and small gifts to put into Christmas gift bags for unhoused member of the community in Utica. It was a great way for students to learn about community members while also giving back to our community.
