Mrs. Irizarry has been an assist with the UCSD for 11 years. For the past 3 years, she has taken on the role of Parent Liaison at Jones Elementary School.
A parent liaisons role is to act as a bridge between schools and families, facilitating communication, providing resources and fostering parent involvement to support student success. When it comes to Mrs. Irizarry, we’ve got the “Golden Gate” of Parent Liaisons.
Mrs. Irizarry portrays genuine respect, caring and cultural understanding for all of our students. She created a “CARE CLOSET” that provides students with basic needs. She helped bring back Jones multi culture night to celebrate with families, and assists with all PTA and school events.
When it comes to Mrs. Irizarry, she is not only a Utica Gem, but is also a Gold Gem.
