PARP Winners Ice Cream Sundaes 2024

On November 13th, Mrs. VanDuren served up ice cream sundaes to Mrs. Kallies’ class. The class had excellent participation in this year’s Pick A Reading Partner (PARP) Program at Jefferson Elementary. For the month of October, Jefferson students were encouraged to spend extra time reading at home with a parent, grandparent, sibling, or other family member. As a reward, the class with the highest participation got to spin the Jefferson Prize Wheel. Mrs. Kallies’ class won an ice cream party. Mrs. VanDuren visited their class and served up some ice cream with chocolate syrup and whipped cream. It was a delicious way to celebrate reading!
