On November 8th, the American Red Cross visited a few classes at Jefferson to engage with our students about the importance of fire safety and preparedness. During the visit, students listened to the story "Prepare with Pedro," which emphasizes how to stay safe in case of a fire. Additionally, Pedro the Penguin made a surprise appearance, delighting the students. They were excited to showcase what they learned about fire safety to Pedro, reinforcing the lessons in a fun and interactive way. Thank you to the Red Cross for providing a valuable and enjoyable learning experience for our students.
