Ice Cream Social 2024

Thomas Jefferson Elementary School PTO hosted a Summer Fun Literacy Night/Ice Cream Social on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, from 6-7:30PM. This year, two separate event locations were set up in the school. In the gym,  Cornell Cooperative Extension and The ICAN Children's Mobile Museum provided many fun activities for our students. In the cafeteria, stations included make and take areas, ice cream themed games, as well as literacy-based activity and craft stations. Students and their families were also able to share an ice cream treat with their principal, teachers, school staff and classmates. Many thanks to Stewart's Shops for donating chocolate, vanilla, cookie dough and coffee ice cream, Bonomo's Dairy Creme for donating sprinkles, BJ's for donating the whipped cream and Nirvana for the bottled water. We appreciate the hard work, time and dedication the PTO, Jefferson School staff, district staff, academic coaches and our community partners put into making this event successful and fun.
