Purple Up 2024

On April 17th Jefferson Elementary celebrated Purple Up Day – celebrating our military kids. We have two students at Jefferson whose parent is an active member of the United States Airforce, Hunter Slaughter and Arabella Roybal. Their mom, Tech. Sergeant Nadaja Bullock, visited Jefferson and talked to Hunter and Arabella’s classes. We designed a bulletin board saying “We Love Our Military Kids”and each class wrote a note in a purple star, which was posted on the board.
