Summer School STEM Field Trip 23

June 29, 2023 - Mrs. Remache, Mrs. Siciliano, Ms. Wiater and Mrs. Wilkinson took their STEAM Summer School students to the John S. Dyson NY Energy Zone located on Utica Zoo Way. The students had the opportunity to travel back in time with Nikola Tesla and Thomas Edison, build a lightbulb, fly a drone over power lines, try eight STEM stations and explore the “future of the grid” room to watch sparks fly. We had an amazing day and really enjoyed the experience.
