Young learners at Conkling Elementary are making the most of their weekends at the Saturday Academy! Students in grades K-2 have been enjoying hands-on lessons, interactive activities, and quality time with their teachers and classmates.
As part of their recent learning experience, each student received a book to take home and participated in engaging activities inspired by The Groundhog’s Runaway Shadow by David Biedrzycki. Through reading, discussion, and creative projects, students deepened their love for storytelling while building literacy skills in a fun and meaningful way.
