On Wednesday, October 16th the bilingual kindergarten class hosted a family night in the Conkling auditorium. Students and family members were invited to attend a Latin dance class followed by a potluck in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. Families contributed dishes from their countries of origin and the recipes were compiled into a class cookbook that everyone was able to take home.
El miércoles, 16 de octubre la clase bilingüe de kínder tuvo una noche familia en el auditorio de la escuela Conkling. Los estudiantes y sus familias participaron en una clase de baile y compartieron comida de sus países de origen para celebrar el mes de la herencia hispana. Las recetas fueron recopiladas para crear un libro de cocina que todos los participantes llevaron a casa.
